About Us
Our story
The Recovery Collective Inc. was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to recovery, regardless of their financial circumstances.
We are a Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free educational workshops rooted in the 12-Step recovery program. Our mission is to remove barriers that prevent individuals and families from accessing the tools, guidance, and community that can help transform lives.
Recovery changed our lives, and we believe it should be available to anyone seeking a new way of living. Through our workshops, participants receive books, binders, educational materials, meals, and ongoing support at no cost. We strive to create an environment where people can learn, grow, and build a foundation for long-term sobriety.
What makes us different is our commitment to giving back. Through donations and the sale of recovery-themed apparel from Sober Clothing Co., every purchase helps fund our mission. Every shirt becomes a billboard for hope while directly supporting free recovery programming for those who need it most.
Beyond education, we are building a community. We support individuals in recovery, their families, and anyone looking for a solution to addiction and alcoholism. We believe recovery is more than abstinence—it is a design for living built on connection, purpose, and service.
At The Recovery Collective, we are committed to carrying a message of hope and making sure that financial hardship is never the reason someone cannot access recovery resources.
Together, we recover. Together, we give back. Together, we create lasting change.
Meet Our Founder
Nick, founder of The Recovery Collective, has been in recovery since getting sober at age 21. After finding hope and transformation through the 12 Steps, he dedicated his life to helping others discover the same path forward. Alongside a group of friends, Nick facilitates free one-day recovery workshops designed to provide support, guidance, and practical tools for individuals seeking recovery. He and his wife first created Sober Clothing Company as a way to fund these workshops, ensuring that financial barriers never prevent someone from accessing help. Through experience with the workshops and the clothing brand, Nick's mission became clear: to share hope, support recovery, and help others find stability, direction, and a renewed sense of purpose. And The Recovery Collective was born.
