Resources
Helping individuals and families find the resources, support, and connections needed to build a strong foundation for recovery.
Navigating Recovery Resources
Finding the right resource can make a significant difference in an individual's recovery journey and a family's overall well-being. We believe it is important to carefully evaluate available options, consider individual needs and circumstances, and connect with trusted providers who align with a person's goals and values. Our aim is to help individuals and families navigate these choices by providing information that supports informed, confident decisions.

Outpatient Treatment and Recovery Support Services provide individuals with structured treatment and support while allowing them to continue living at home, working, attending school, and maintaining family responsibilities. These programs may include individual counseling, group therapy, educational services, relapse prevention planning, medication-assisted treatment, and recovery coaching. Outpatient services vary in intensity, ranging from weekly counseling sessions to more comprehensive day or evening programs. For many individuals, outpatient treatment offers ongoing support, accountability, and skill-building that can help strengthen long-term recovery and overall well-being.

Detoxification (Detox) is often the first step in the treatment process for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Detox provides medical supervision and support while a person's body clears alcohol or drugs from their system and manages the physical symptoms of withdrawal. Depending on the substance used and the severity of dependence, withdrawal can range from uncomfortable to potentially life-threatening, making professional medical care an important consideration. While detox helps individuals achieve physical stabilization, it is not a complete treatment for addiction and is most effective when followed by ongoing treatment, recovery support, and a long-term plan for sustained recovery.

Sober Living is a supportive, substance-free living environment designed to help individuals transition from treatment or early recovery into independent living. These homes provide structure, accountability, and a community of peers who are committed to recovery. Residents are typically expected to maintain sobriety, participate in recovery-related activities, follow house guidelines, and contribute to the responsibilities of daily living. Sober living homes can provide a safe and stable environment where individuals can strengthen recovery skills, build healthy routines, and establish a foundation for long-term recovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Meetings are peer-led support groups where individuals seeking recovery from alcohol or substance use disorders come together to share their experience, strength, and hope. Based on the Twelve Steps, these meetings provide a supportive and welcoming environment where participants can connect with others facing similar challenges, learn from shared experiences, and build a network of recovery support. AA and NA meetings are free to attend, widely available, and offer a sense of fellowship, accountability, and community that many individuals find invaluable in maintaining long-term recovery.

Family support plays a vital role in the recovery process. Substance use disorders affect not only the individual but also parents, spouses, children, siblings, and close friends. Recovery is often strengthened when families have access to education, support, and resources that help them understand addiction, establish healthy boundaries, and begin their own healing journey. A strong support network can provide encouragement, accountability, and stability during treatment and beyond. By supporting both individuals and their families, we can help create a stronger foundation for lasting recovery and healthier communities.
